Hilary Rekrut, CEO Veritas Insights, has been immersed in the world of market research since the age of 21. While studying at University of California at Berkeley, she landed an internship in Consumer & Market Knowledge at Procter & Gamble, the company which invented modern market research, and has been hooked ever since.

Hilary’s early years at P&G gave her the best hands-on training in the technical aspect of research, but also critical thinking required to turn data into insight, and turn insight into influence. Embedded in her process is seeking to understand the question behind the question, to design the best learning plan, to be conscious of resources, and to navigate the organization so her work could have the most impact possible.

Hilary has years of extremely diverse and successful insight development. She has led insight development across Laundry, Household Cleaners, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Facial Tissue, Hair Color, Hair Care, Skin Care, Shaving, Body Care, Consumer Electronics, and Package Food. She physically led research in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and has understood consumer needs in all 6 continents. She has been the right-hand woman of sales, marketing, R&D and finance counterparts.
